On-Board Employee SMS Service - Terms & Conditions

By using the On-Board employee SMS service ("Service") integrated with Microsoft Teams, you ("User," "you," "your") agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs"). This Service is provided by [Your Company Name, e.g., On-Board Technologies Inc.] ("Company," "we," "us," "our") to facilitate 1-to-1 business-related conversational SMS messaging between authorized On-Board employees and their business contacts ("Recipients").

Service Purpose and Scope:

The Service is intended solely for legitimate, professional, and business-related 1-to-1 conversational text messaging by authorized On-Board employees.

The Service must not be used for marketing, advertising, promotions, bulk messaging, unsolicited messages, or any form of automated communication (unless explicitly authorized by a separate campaign).

User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use:

Users must use the Service responsibly, ethically, and in strict compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations (including but not limited to those related to telecommunications, data privacy, and anti-spamming).

Users must adhere to all relevant On-Board company policies, including but not limited to codes of conduct, communication policies, IT usage policies, and data security/privacy policies.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: sending abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful or inappropriate content; misrepresenting your identity; infringing on intellectual property rights; or transmitting viruses or malicious code.

Users are responsible for the content of messages they send via the Service.

Consent and Opt-Out:

Prior to sending an initial SMS message to a contact for business purposes, ensure you have appropriate consent where required by law or company policy.

Recipients of messages sent via this Service can opt-out from receiving further messages from that specific number at any time by replying "STOP".

Recipients can typically resume receiving messages by replying "START".

Opt-out and help instructions will be provided to recipients as per regulatory guidelines (e.g., "Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel").

Message Frequency, Costs, and Delivery:

Message frequency will vary based on the nature of the 1-to-1 conversation.

Standard message and data rates from the mobile carrier may apply to both the User (if using a personal device integrated with Teams for SMS relay, depending on setup) and the Recipient. The Company is not responsible for these charges.

The Company does not guarantee the delivery, timeliness, or accuracy of messages, as these can be affected by carrier networks and other factors outside of our direct control.

Privacy and Data:

SMS messages sent and received through this Service are considered business communications and may be logged, monitored, stored, and disclosed by the Company in accordance with applicable laws, legal processes, and Company policies, including our data retention and privacy policies.

Security:
